 MISSION STATEMENT Messiah’s vision is to be (outward focused) life-giving water to the greater Raleigh community by serving the needs of the multi-diverse groups youth and adults by providing quality educational events/workshops, ESL, advocacy events, soccer events, and a care network. CORE VALUES We believe strongly in the Word of God. We believe that the church is people - not buildings or programs. Our servant leadership is largely carried out by laypersons, not paid staff, for the work of the church. Our ministries are blessed and dependent on the leading and power of the Holy Spirit through the Word of God - not human effort. We are committed to making disciples. We are committed to a global mission. We are committed to an inclusionary church -- not an exclusionary one. We are a giving church. We are a congregation in the Lutheran heritage.
